The Steung Siemreap Hotel is rebuilt – a new building, in the French Quarter; Psah Chas (Old Market) retaining her true colonial French characteristics, wooden louvre french-windows, doors and wooden floors complete with wrought iron balconies.

The interiors whilst youthfully modern, bright airy and cheerful retain some semblance of her 1930’s art-decor characteristics with a hint Khmer flavour.

The original Steung Siemreap Hotel – a fine old and elegant hotel, was established in the early 1920’s soon after construction of the Wat Preah Prom Rath emple.

We are given to understand the architects and engineers who were building the Grand Hotel d'Angkor occasionally stayed at the Steung Siemreap Hotel.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the dining room serves Oriental and Mediterranean cuisine - organic products, fresh clean taste.

The dining room is spacious, light airy and catches both the morning and evening light. Flexible table settings allow for a variable number of guests.

Without being either funky or snazzy in an MTV manner, the bar is refreshingly young at heart and an integral part of the restaurant and character of the hotel.
